Meetings Business Skills Module

inlingua Meetings is a business English programme covering the language skills needed by people who have to hold or take part in meetings in English.
The inlingua Meetings Business Skills Module is offered at Level 1 (pre-Intermediate) and Level 2 (Intermediate). The Module is designed for students learning English and to complement the skills they already have in meetings. The teacher will also coach you and not just teach you.
Level 1 is 3 Units which can be covered in 10-15 hours by the student who already has a good basic knowledge of English. The focus is on communication skill (as used in a typical meeting). Up-to-date business scenarios/case studies are used to teach the target language in an interesting way. You will build your bank of useful vocabulary and practise new expressions. There are listening exercises. Meetings about different topics and the different stages of meetings will be covered. The course can be customised to suit a wide range of professional backgrounds. The course also deals with techniques for enhancing communication between non-native speakers.
Level 2 is 6 Units which can be covered in 20-30 hours by the student who is already lower Intermediate and above in ability. A variety of topics and stages are covered including 'minutes of meetings'. The last Unit provides a comprehensive review of the target language as well as more in-depth focus on business skills.

All fees include registration, testing, books/materials and tuition (Courses at Clementi are GST zero-rated; course fees at Orchard include 7 per cent Goods and Service Tax.
